Dr. Sara Marandi
Dr. Sara Marandi graduated from a top ranked dental school in Iran in 2005. For the following seven years after her graduation, she practiced dentistry in both public and private sectors, providing a wide spectrum of dental treatments. To pursue her dream of making a larger impact on oral health, she moved to Sweden and pursued her graduate studies at the internationally renowned Karolinska Institute and obtained her Master’s degree in Global Health.
Dr. Marandi moved to Canada in 2013. She was involved in several research projects at Mount Sinai Hospital and at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. She was also a Primary Leader for the mentorship program Make World Change at Dalla Lana School of Public Health Sciences.
Dr. Marandi is a licensed dentist in Canada and an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association. As part of her commitment to providing evidence-based dental care to her patients; she stays up-to-date by attending different courses and lectures.
Dr. Marandi enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends, gardening, working out and photography.
She is fluent in English and Persian.
