Dentures

Alternatives for Replacing Missing Teeth

In addition to dental implants, we can also use removable partial dentures held in place by wire clips; fixed dental bridges cemented into position by crowns placed on the teeth adjacent to an empty space and traditional full dentures secured by dental implants to replace missing teeth and restore your smile to health, beauty and function.

We make and repair most partial and full dentures through our laboratory.

Dentures have several problems.

  • Many years of denture use cause bone resorption (or "wearing away") of the bone in your upper or lower jaws. As a result, your dentures become loose.
  • Loose or ill fitting dentures, can make eating, speaking, and smiling a difficult.
  • Bad breath is a usual complaint as a result of food being trapped and deteriorating under old, loose fitting dentures.
  • People who have lost bone in their jaws due to years of denture use can also expect changes in their appearance

Denture wearers require regular exams to ensure their health, comfort and appearance is not compromised. Gum tissues are in a constant state of change. Periodic relining of the dentures may be necessary to ensure a tight and comfortable fit.

If you wish to eliminate the problems of having to wear dentures all together, ask us to see if you are a candidate for dental implants.
